Notice to SS3 Parents

Please be advised that CSA is not organising a school prom for our SS3 students. Some students may choose to organise a prom for themselves but this is not an official CSA function. CS does not support this prom and as such takes no responsibility for a programme organised by students alone.

This does not affect the scheduled Graduation diner and Graduation day which take place at CSA on July 13th and 14th respectively.

New Developments at CSA

The Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council announced major changes to the SS curriculum some time ago and these come into effect for the present SS1. To help us respond properly to these changes we invited Dr Junaidu (pictured above), the Director of NERDC, to come and address staff and meet with the schools curriculum planners to both explain the subtleties of the new initiate and also comment on the way that we have adapted our curriculum. SS1 students and parents have been involved in making new subject choices and the new curriculum has now begun.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new LDC - the Learning Development Centre. We have taken 2 of our existing classrooms and, with the help of the PTA who provided us with funding, refurbished them to make 1 learning area. The space will be used to work with both our gifted and talented students as well as providing a base for our learning support programs. The space has been enthusiastically received by students.
